Learning how to breathe..

I have forgotten how to write
I think, and try to indulge in self-pity.
I pause, and discard this thought in disgust
How can anyone forget how to breathe?
I chastise myself.
So I dig deep .. reword..
I have forgotten what it feels to shape words that move me
Yes. That makes sense.
What is it that I feel? A blip of happiness?
Yes! Look! I've already started the ascent.
Focus, Krithika!
The bliss of weaving together words
That flow as easily as the river
That make me as incandescent as the fire
That hurts me without ever laying a hand on me
That blurs my five senses with happiness
Oh! I remember. I remember. I remember.
But, Ah! The irony.
Such irony..
I can shape words that move me..
But I can't make you feel,
the way my words make me feel
So I ask myself - what good a writer am I?
I pause, and discard this thought in disgust
How can you breathe for someone else?
The mind heartily agrees.. But the heart smirks:
The fact that you can't do that,
Speaks for your ability as a person, not a writer
So try to become a better person..
You won't forget how to write then

I heard the music!!

Yesterday was very profound..
Not because Pakistan finally started taking action by rooting out the Jamaad Camps...
Not because the ICC's come out with a very crappy list of the top batsmen and bowlers..
Not even because the Satyam board got new members to accomplish its Operation Salvage...
Lets get some perspective here..shall we?!
Its my blog!So obviously it would be something consanguineous to me!

Yesterday I realized certain situations sprout up in our lives only to test hell outta us!They sprout up only to see if a person's capable of calling the shots to prove his/her mettle, may be not to the whole wide world but to that small squeaky irritating voice in the head and to quieten the qualms that one often has about his/her capabilities.
Once that squeaky voice becomes music is when you know you've done it!You've done what is right and at that point of time the music is so exhilirating and so intoxicating that the very act of doing what was right seems like a bigger triumph than what is to come!

So what am I trying so say?
Always do what is right?!
Always listen to your conscience?!

Nooooooooooo!!!
Just that yesterday was very profound!:D

PS-For the record I did hear the music!!!:);)
