:)!!

Excruciatingly painful and exquisitely beautiful. Confusion reined and so did ecstasy. Why am I talking like a dope? Because [ahem ahem..here goes..] I've just returned from the first ever two day trip-cum-trek of my engineering life. Iwould like to continue talking like a dope, describing every single emotion, every single thought along the journey; every single chilling, tingly feeling when the water crept up to my skin- piercing like needles that had been specially super sharpened by sadists, but I figure it would eventually bore you...[and make you a little jealous ;)] So, being the good girl I am[[:P]], I'm just going to highlight the events that took place, the very ones that served to make one helluva trip.
We did things we've never ever done on a normal trip.
For starters, we cooked!![oh yeah!]
The menu being-biryani, noodles, upma, lemon tea![:D].

We set up a camp!

And a campfire!

We stepped on elephant dung and realized, it was surprisingly light and soft.[We've never done that before!!So stop rolling your eyes!]

We caught sight of a rabbit, and the first reaction was not delight, but terror, and mine was vice- versa [apparently its common knowledge that snakes breed where rabbits are abound..Who knew that?!!]

A few of our friends went missing for a couple of hours, only to end up in another camp and spend the night there!:D

" Why trek? What good comes out of climbing up and down the hill ?" was what one of my classmates had apparently asked another. I began to wonder the same, and it hardly took me a moment to realize why.To the anonymous moron, here's why: we climb up the hill ,braving all the vagaries of nature, with the sole thought being a part of the adventure. What the adventure brings with it is a crude test of mental and physical strength. One becomes increasingly aware of one's pattern of breathing, appreciating the significance of oxygen at every step along the way, not to mention the overwhelming gratefulness one feels upon sighting a clean restroom.[:P] One comes to trust his gut, one learns to hope, and learns to put complete faith in the single person who guides us along the way. One learns a lesson for life!

Alright, now that I've vented out my philosophical anger at the person, I believe its time for me to wrap it up.
Just a quick mention of the ones who were a part of the trek-
Dee, NAndu, Ashwin, Arun.c, Pinky, Gautam, Manju, Ram, Akshay, Kulla, Beeresh, Balu and meeee!!

Ohhh,most importantly,
The place was BAndajje falls!:)
